Video: S!LENCE On Aguadura
The Tase Grip rapper talks music (his own and Future's), scene photography, and more on 'Radio Free Cabbages.'
As with just about anyone who releases music via Break All Records, S!LENCE is precisely the sort of hip-hop artist that CABBAGES seeks to spotlight. A member of the Tase Grip collective alongside the likes of Akai Solo, Lungs, and Phiik, the NYC-based rapper frequently appears on his cohorts' projects or otherwise in collaboration with them on his own releases. His latest album Aguadura exemplifies his enhanced skillset, so we were pleased to have him join us as our esteemed guest on Radio Free Cabbages at Newtown Radio in Brooklyn.
Back in September, S!LENCE stepped into the semi-subterranean Bushwick studio for a live on-air chat with Gary Suarez about the artistic impulses and intentions behind his music and photography, as well as to taste-test some infused beverages courtesy of Crescent Canna and Curren$y's Jet Life. (Oh, and Future's MIXTAPE PLUTO...)
